About the WARMACHINE® Errata and FAQ

The WARMACHINE Errata and FAQ is a living document that provides a single definitive source for answering both WARMACHINE rules questions and providing errata in a easy to search database. It is maintained by the Rules Infernals, a group dedicated to answering rules questions on the Privateer Press forums. This FAQ is tournament legal as of the date on the last update.

1. I have a rules question, where do I ask?
   Your question may already have been answered on our forums. Visit our rules forum to find out. You may also register on our forums to ask a question.
2. What does 'Errata' and 'FAQ' mean?
   Errata refers to a change in the printed rules, either in a book or a card. Most of the changes are needed due to misprints, and a small minority are actual changes to the game.
3. How often is this document updated?
   This is a living document and new content will be added as needed, but there isn't a schedule. You might find this index of updates handy.
4. Can you add a new feature?
   Maybe. We have plans for a few new features including PDF generation. You can contact the software developers through the contacting the Rule Infernals on the WARMACHINE rules forum, or PMing PPS_Jim on the forums.
5. Will you add HORDES or other game questions?
   Yes. HORDES has a living faq too. Other living documents may appear at the FAQ homepage for other products in the future.
6. I think I found an error, how do I report it?
   Contact the Rules Infernals on the rule questions forum.
